How we help
Household
Shopping, laundry, cooking, keeping the home tidy and clean.
Accompaniment
To the doctor, to public offices, shopping – on foot, by bus and train or taxi.
Company
Conversation, games, walks, memories – also in early dementia.
Relief for family
We step in by the hour when family carers need a break or go away.
No personal care, no medication or medical care, no gardening or repair work – care services and tradespeople cover those.
How we start – reliable from day one
Free first meeting
We visit you at home, get to know each other and clarify what you need and what your care insurance covers.
Fixed companion, fixed time
You get a companion from your neighbourhood – always the same person, at a fixed time, for example every Tuesday from 10 to 12.
Cover when someone is ill
We let you know in advance and send someone you already know where possible. You can also decline – then we reschedule.
Checked and trained
All companions provide a certificate of good conduct and are qualified for everyday support.
With a care level, insurance can pay
From care level 1 you are entitled to €131 every month. Many people never use it – after a deadline it expires.
From care level 1
€131
per month relief amount
From care level 2
+ up to €318
per month from unused care services
When family carers are away
€3,539
per year for respite care
Please note: KiezTime is currently applying for recognition as an everyday support service (§ 45a SGB XI). Only after that can we bill the care insurance. What is covered depends on your care level and remaining budget – we confirm this with you before the first visit.
No care level? Simply book and pay yourself – €39.50 per hour, no fixed term.
You can deduct 20 % of the costs from your taxes as a household-related service (§ 35a EStG).
